CRYPTODASH
Co-op delivery crew on a neon blockchain city: route the transaction before the block runs out.
1–4 players · 25 min
You and up to three friends are courier processes running errands on a blockchain that looks like a cyberpunk city. Every building is a smart contract: the Token Bank, the Liquidity Supermarket, the Bridge at the edge of town, the NFT Arcade, the Oracle Tower. A quest drops in ("send 50 GLIM to a wallet", "route a three-hop swap", "flash-loan, trade twice, repay, split the profit") and its steps must be executed IN ORDER at the right buildings before its deadline. Each round is one Block: everyone secretly picks one action at the same time (Move, Execute, Send cards, Draw), then it all resolves. Executing a step costs op-cards from your private hand (GAS, SIG, TOK, LIQ, DATA) and triggers a short puzzle on your phone. Nobody starts with the right cards, so the real game is shouting for what you need and passing cards across town before the deadline. Quests escalate from easy to hard; the team scores points for every quest that lands and tries to beat the Ledger Goal before the session's blocks run out. DeFi knowledge helps you read the puzzles faster, but every puzzle shows a plain-language hint.
How to play
Fully cooperative. The team scores 2 points per easy quest, 4 per medium, 7 per hard, and must reach the Ledger Goal (Silver) before the session's blocks run out.
Who's who
- Banker
- Hand limit 8 instead of 6. Draw actions pull 1 extra card. Once per quest, may pay 2 GAS to convert any 2 cards in hand into 1 card of a chosen type.
- Mechanic
- Execute costs 1 fewer card of the step's largest cost type (minimum 1 card total). If a puzzle fails, the Mechanic may retry it immediately once, in the same block.
- Spy
- Sees the next quest and its full step list one block before it is revealed to everyone else, and can see the card-type counts (not identities) of every other player's hand.
- Driver
- Moves up to 3 nodes per Move action instead of 2, and may Move and Send cards in the same block (one extra action per block, once every two blocks).
- Actor
- Can Execute a step at a building while standing on any node adjacent to it (remote call). Co-Sign windows are 2 seconds longer for the whole team while the Actor is connected.
- Scientist
- Once per quest, may auto-solve a puzzle without playing it (cards are still paid). Puzzle timers are 3 seconds longer for the Scientist.
How a game goes
Setup
The city is a 5x5 lattice of 25 nodes joined by streets. Fourteen nodes are contract buildings drawn from nine types: Wallet House (EOA), Token Bank (ERC-20), Liquidity Supermarket (pool), Router Depot (post office), Bridge (edge node),…
BLOCK START (3s banner)
The block number ticks up, gas price for this block is shown (Normal, or Spike = every Execute costs 1 extra GAS). Any quest deadline that just expired is resolved first.
QUEST BOARD
The active quest shows its ordered steps with the completed ones checked, the building type and card cost of the current step, and how many blocks remain before it reverts. If no quest is active, the next one flips up now.
Step 3
ACTION SELECT (timer, default 45s, simultaneous and secret): every player taps exactly one action - Move (tap a node within 2 street steps), Execute (only if standing on a building of the current step's type), Send (choose cards and a…
SIGNAL RAIL (during ACTION SELECT)
Players may also tap card-type icons to broadcast "NEED GAS" / "HAVE 2 SIG" tags visible to everyone. Signals are free and unlimited and don't count as an action.
RESOLVE MOVEMENT (2s)
All Moves apply at once; pawns slide along the grid. Multiple players may share a node.
RESOLVE SENDS AND DRAWS (3s)
Sends deliver instantly anywhere on the map; recipients see what arrived. Draws are dealt from the seeded card deck. Anyone over their hand limit discards down, choosing which cards to drop.
And then
EXECUTE - PAY: each Executing player's step cost is deducted from their hand. If they can't pay the full cost, the Execute fizzles (1 GAS is burned) and the block continues.
Tips
- Secret information: Each player's hand contents are private - others see only hand size and any card types you voluntarily broadcast on the Signal Rail (the…
