Terms of Service

Effective September 30, 2026

These terms cover using Tuesday Game Night: playing games, hosting rooms, designing games in Studio, and buying tokens. By using the site, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email support@tuesdaygamenight.com. How we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • Playing is free, and you don't need an account. Accounts are for people 13 and older.
  • Tokens are credits for building games in Studio. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
  • Changed your mind about a token purchase? Ask within 14 days and we'll refund the tokens you haven't spent.
  • You own the games you design. We need your permission to host them and let people play them. If you publish one, anyone can find and play it, and you can unpublish it anytime.
  • Be kind, don't cheat, and don't try to break the site or get into anyone else's account.

Accounts and guests

  • You can play as a guest. A guest profile lives in a cookie on your browser, so clearing your cookies can lose it.
  • You must be 13 or older to create an account, and the details you give us must be accurate.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account, and you should tell us right away at support@tuesdaygamenight.com if you think someone else is using it.
  • Don't share, sell, or transfer your account.

Playing and hosting rooms

  • Anyone with a room's code can ask to join it. The host decides the room's settings and can remove players.
  • Chat is delivered live and isn't saved. Game results and moves are saved as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Use a nickname, and don't put personal information, like your full name, address, or phone number, in names or chat.

Tokens

  • Tokens pay for building games in Studio. Every new account gets 100 free tokens, and we sometimes grant more. You can buy token packs at the prices shown on the Tokens page, in US dollars. Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which adds sales tax or VAT where it applies and emails your receipt.
  • You pick a model for each build: Standard, or Pro, which uses more tokens for the same work. Tokens track what the build actually costs to run.
  • A build holds tokens while it works. With pay as you go, it draws more from your balance as it needs them. With a set budget, it holds that amount. Either way, you're charged only for what the build actually used, and the rest come back when it ends.
  • A build pauses and waits for you when its budget or your balance runs out, or, as a safeguard, when it has run far longer or used far more tokens than a game normally takes. If you stop a build, or don't answer a pause within 24 hours, it ends and you're charged for what it used up to then.
  • If a build fails because of a problem on our side, or its game still fails our checks after Claude's fixes, all of its tokens come back.
  • Tokens have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money or sold, and they're gone if your account is deleted. The one way tokens move between accounts is a sale on the asset market, described below.
  • We may change pack prices or what a build costs. Changes never affect tokens you already have.

Refunds

  • Within 14 days of a purchase, you can ask for a refund of the tokens from that purchase that you haven't spent. Email support@tuesdaygamenight.com from the email address on your account, and tell us which purchase.
  • We refund the price of the unspent tokens to your original payment method and remove those tokens from your balance. Refunds usually show up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Tokens already spent on builds, and free or granted tokens, can't be refunded.
  • If you dispute a charge with your bank instead, we may remove the tokens from that purchase and pause buying on your account until the dispute is resolved.
  • If the law where you live gives you more rights to a refund, those rights apply.

Studio and the games you design

  • You own your pitches, design docs, and the games you design. You give Tuesday Game Night permission to store, run, and display them so you, the people you play with, and, for games you publish, anyone on the site can use them, and to send them to our service providers, including Anthropic, to draft designs and build games.
  • Games are designed and built with AI. They can have mistakes, and a build can differ from its design doc. Test rooms let you check a game before you publish it.
  • When you publish a game, anyone can find it in search, see its name, description, and your handle, and host rooms to play it. Publishing a newer version switches new rooms to it. Unpublishing takes the game out of search and stops new rooms; rooms already open can finish.
  • Only pitch games you have the right to make. Don't submit content that infringes someone else's rights, or that's illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or unsuitable for players 13 and up.
  • We may unpublish or remove designs and games that break these terms, or turn down a design Studio can't build safely. If you see a published game that breaks them, report it from its game page or email support@tuesdaygamenight.com.

Asset packs and the market

  • When a game of yours publishes, the art, characters, levels, sounds, and content Claude made for it are kept in your asset library as packs. They're yours: use them in any game you build here, or delete them.
  • You can list a pack on the asset market for free or for a token price you set. By listing it, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give anyone who gets it a licence to use it in games they build on Tuesday Game Night, forever, including after you delist it. You keep ownership. You choose whether they may have Claude change it for their game.
  • When someone buys your pack, we keep 20% of the price and add the rest to your token balance. Earned tokens spend like any others on builds, and like any others they can't be cashed out or refunded to a payment method.
  • A pack you get from the market is licensed to you, not sold: use it in your games here, as it is or changed if the seller allows, but don't resell it, list it again, or use it outside the site. A pack of yours that contains files from a bought pack can't be listed.
  • Sales are final: a listing shows what's in the pack before you get it. If a seller deletes a pack or their account, it leaves your library, but the games you already built with it are unchanged. We may remove listings that break these terms or that we get a valid takedown notice for, and refund the buyers of a removed pack at our discretion.

Rules for everyone

When you use Tuesday Game Night, don't:

  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, or share someone else's personal information.
  • Cheat, use automated tools to play or join rooms, or exploit bugs instead of reporting them.
  • Try to get around the game sandbox, reach other players' data, overload the site, or scrape it.
  • Sell or trade accounts, tokens, or access to rooms.

Ending your account

  • You can delete your data any time on the Delete your data page. Deleting it also removes your tokens.
  • We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account for breaking them, its unspent tokens aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.

Changes to the site and these terms

Tuesday Game Night is still growing, so games, features, and prices will change, and parts of the site may sometimes be unavailable. When we change these terms, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll also let signed-in players know on the site before the changes take effect.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Tuesday Game Night running and fair, but the site and its games are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Tuesday Game Night isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
